British 10K Run In London

RUN THE WORLD'S GREATEST ROUTE and help young people with physical disabilities realise their potential at the same time with Active8.

The Vitality British 10K London Run, on Sunday 10th July 2016, is staged on the world's greatest road race route through the heart of central London, passing many of the capital's truly world class historic landmarks.

Starting on Piccadilly outside The Guards & Calvary Club, runners will pass the new WW2 bomber command memorial which was unveiled by HM Queen Elizabeth II in June 2012. with Wellington Arch at Hyde Park Corner forming the backdrop to the start.

There are a few spaces left to help raise much needed funds for Active8.

To enter

Simply complete and sign the runner registration form (at the bottom of this page) and send it to Active8, 49 St Nicholas Street, Bodmin, PL31 1AF or email

You will also need to donate £50 quoting “’Your name’ London10K” to secure your place, please e-mail to get details of how you can do this.

Please help raise additional sponsorship.

What will the money you raise help us do?

One example is: we are currently raising money to go towards Acceler8 members undertaking their Duke of Edinburgh Award Expedition. Due to high care needs of our members we will be taking hoists, breathing support machines, hygienic personal care tables and all terrain scooters, all of which takes up a huge space. The young people are adamant they want the challenge of camping under canvas and so we will need to hire a small marquee to accomodate both the young people and all the additional equipment. They will of course be responsible for putting it up!

Please help raise funds through BT My Donate and create an event for ‘Active8 Cornwall’.
